Fall Collection

The first of my Fall Collection ceramics has been installed at the Dedham Square Artist Gallery located at 553 High Street in Dedham Square, Dedham, MA.  Please stop in during gallery hours: Wednesday-Saturday 12-6, and Sundays 11-2 to see and purchase one-of-a- kind handmade artwork by me as well as the other 19 Dedham Guild members who represent photography, painting, fiber, jewelry and more.

My fall collection is dishwasher and microwave safe.  Caring for your artwork details are located on my website.  This collection is high fire stoneware that has been wheel thrown and fired in a cone 6 kiln by the artist.

Special Occasions

Potters Place Open Studios is two weeks away.  A cooperative studio where I teach and create, Potters Place will open it’s doors to the public for Spring Show & Sale 2018 on Friday, May 4th at 5:30pm and close on Sunday, May 6th at 4:00pm.  Details

Chicken and waffles – an unlikely pairing

I am always interested in new foods. As a potter, I look for the food and pottery connection.  Chicken and waffles are trending in Boston this week, as I found out from my weekly Yelp email.  There are all kinds of textures and flavors going on in this meal! The History Kitchen featured on the PBS blog gives a nice overview of where this combination comes fre pair.  A plate large enough to hold the two together with room for a puddle of warm maple syrup… ” As somebody who has repeatedly enjoyed this improbable creation, I must insist– don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.
