In February, I traveled to Florida. Below you will find the inspiration for some of the many pieces I created using wheel-throwing, hand-building, surface decoration and glazes on my one of a kind pottery for a unique Spring Collection. These pieces are now available and for sale to all collectors of beautiful functional handmade pieces of art.

If you would like to purchase handmade from me but are unable or uncomfortable attending an in person event, please have a look at my new pottery here on my flickr account Just email me for prices and I can either package your paid purchases to pick up at the event, my home studio in Westwood or make other arrangements for contactless purchases, including shipping pottery.
If you are attending, I will have new work in addition to a few sale specials to make room for future work in my studio (this is not a seconds sale, but price reductions in some older pieces).
Enjoy a visit and talk about my summer collection and Barbados inspired pottery.
When you can’t host a sale for customers, the next best thing is a private video tour of new work. I set up a sale on my back porch and using my phone, give a talk (make sure the volume is on and up!) about my new summer collection and spring Barbados Collection. As all the sales I planned for were canceled, it has been since February when I have had the opportunity to share my vision for the work that I am creating. All pieces are for sale and can be purchased directly from me. I provide contactless buying options, curbside pick up, delivery and shipping. Please email me at lisawbwalker@gmail.com to discuss any of the work.
The turn out was great! Creative individuals from many different fields were in attendance to hear Tricia. It was the third workshop I had participated in with Tricia and it was still packed with new and innovated ideas. She is a fantastic speaker.
Session takeaways were: understanding your brand, the importance of a website, strategies to drive customers to your product or service, and marketing tips and tricks. I’ve already implemented a couple of her suggestions: updating my professional photo (coming soon), checking settings on linked in and updating information, as well as giving my social media a new look.
Tricia White speaks to a room full of creative people.
If you are in the creative service industry (or thinking about entering the industry) whether photography, art, food, writing, or designing, and you want people to find you and purchase your products or services, email the Westwood Artists at westwoodartists@gmail.com to be added their mailing list. We are already working with Tricia to host a fall workshop with a focus on instagram or facebook.
We have a great line up of Westwood Artists all making, baking and selling their local wares in our hometown. You can’t get any more “LOCAL” than that! Shop Small with us by celebrating small businesses and helping communities thrive and stay vibrant.
